Raphael Chukwu has disclosed why he didn't even want to come to Mamelodi Sundowns before he first joined the club in 1996.
It has been ages now that Nigeria has always been the biggest exporter of footballers to Europe, and it was no doubt that Raphael Chukwu also wanted to do the same as he came through the ranks in the populous West African country. After all, Chukwu did get a chance to train with the Super Eagles as a teenager in 1994 even though he ultimately wasn’t selected for the squad that went to the World Cup finals that year.
