Angel of Empire worked five-eighths of a mile in 1:01.40
Pennsylvania-bred horse Angel of Empire completed his final major preparation for the May 6 Kentucky Derby early Saturday morning, breezing through a five-eighths of a mile workout in a time of 1:01.40 over the Churchill Downs main track.
