Valerie would quickly enter remission only to have the cancer show up again in 1996. Alex and Valerie decided to share their story in the hopes it might inspire others to consider the gift of life insurance the same way they were inspired by others who gave before them. Alex is quick to add that a life insurance gift can be much smaller than $1 million, adding that he’s already got some friends thinking about their own donations.
