Orlando Pirates have reportedly moved to sign a playmaker from the lower leagues to bolster their squad before the European tour.
According to the reputable UnplayableZA on X, 24-year-old playmaker Thuso Moleleki will soon become an Orlando Pirates player. He’s impressed with NFD outfit Orbit College to the extent that Jose Riveiro and his staff are convinced he’ll add value to the Nedbank Cup winners. Last season was Orbit College’s first season in the second tier and they secured their stay there following an impressive debut campaign.
“Orlando Pirates Football Club can confirm that Miguel Timm has signed a new deal. The 32-year-old midfielder’s current contract was due to expire at the end of the month, but he has now put pen to paper to extend his stay at the club, keeping him on board the Bucs ship for the 2024/25 campaign, including an option for an additional season. Since his arrival in 2022, Timm has established himself as a key cog of the Pirates team and he has gone on to register 63 matches – winning four cups.
23-year-old Angolan winger Delvi Miguel Vieira, also known as Gilberto, is a right-winger who loves to cut inside and cause damage in central areas. He’s not an old-school style wide man who gets chalk on his boots, that’s for sure.
