It has since been revealed that an Orlando Pirates star rejected a European move in favour of joining the mighty Buccaneers!
Orlando Pirates star Evidence Makgopa’s former coach Dylan Kerr has confirmed that the striker opted to join the Buccaneers over a move to European giants Copenhagen!The 24-year-old who scored seven goals in just 14 appearances under Kerr received an offer from Danish side FC Copenhagen back in 2022.
The towering attacker scored six goals while assisting three more for the Buccaneers. He may not be as prolific as Tshegofatso Mabasa however, his incredible work-rate makes him a favourite of Jose Riveiro’s.“There was a time Evidence Makgopa was supposed to go to Europe. I think it was in Denmark but instead he joined Orlando Pirates,” Dylan Kerr told
