Orlando Pirates are reportedly close to finalizing a deal with AmaZulu FC for their defender Riaan Hanamub, according to sources. The interest in Hanamub has intensified after his participation in the Africa Cup of Nations representing Namibia. All parties involved have agreed on the deal, and it is expected to be completed soon.

"Pirates have been in the hunt for Riaan for some time now and they are happy with his progress at AmaZulu and would like to bring him on board as early as the start of next season. For now, I don't know what will stop the move," the source told Soccer Laduma. A second Siya source added that the Buccaneers have offered the 29-year-old Namibian a three-year contract which will run until June 2027.
