This is the time of the year when the local authority remembers the icon of the liberation struggle through various activities as a way of reminding South Africans of the selfless leadership Tambo provided in the struggle against oppression in the country.He was an anti-apartheid politician and revolutionary who died in 1993 at the age of 75 after suffering a stroke.
