Former Kaizer Chiefs star Bernard Parker fell foul to a reckless challenge from Sundowns midfielder Bongani Zungu that will put him out of action for some time.TS Galaxy took a 2-0 lead after 16 minutes but the Brazilians rallied back to grab a last-ditch equalizer from Gaston Sirino in the 98th minute. Bernard Parker, a veteran of the PSL, appeared to break his leg in the 58th minute after an over-the-top tackle from Bongani Zungu. Zungu was immediately shown red by the referee after players responded in shock to the incident. 31-year-old Zungu, who hasn’t been a regular in Rulani’s team, appeared to be perplexed and disappointed by the decision.
Should Zungu now be handed a massive ban from football in line with the period Parker spends on the sidelines?
