Police said paramedics performed CPR on one person but they succumbed to their injuries.
Police initially tweeted that one car struck a house and that the driver was “pinned and unresponsive.” But Toronto police spokesperson Const. David Hopkinson told the Star in an email that despite several reports, a house had not been struck.“Another involved person was taken to hospital with serious injuries,” Hopkinson said, adding the name of the deceased won’t be released until next of kin are notified.
Traffic services are investigating and the area was expected to have a road closure, according to a followup
