"21st of September, we’re celebrating 30 years of Freedom with DStv Delicious Fest, kuzoba mnandi. I’m gonna be doing something that I’ve never actually done before – I’ve got a tribute show for uBoss Zonke, Riky Rick. So y’all, it’s gonna be Boyz N Buckz set, it’s gonna be wild."Riky Rick, was a well know hip-hop artist, who died in 2022, leaving an indelible mark on the South African music industry.
He is known for hits such as “Sidlukotini”, and “Boss Zonke”, Riky Rick also collaborated with Okmalumkoolkat on tracks like “Amantombazane ”. Their shared chemistry on and off stage, along with their pioneering contributions to South African hip-hop, made their collaborations truly iconic. Okmalumkoolkat is also featured on Usimamane’s recent album “20th: Days Before Maud”, a project that includes artists like Sjava, K.O, and ANATII.both of them will honour South Africa hip-hop icons. Chana will honour AKA, who passed away in Durban on February 10.
