MultiChoice has rolled out an upgrade to the DStv Stream app and announced a discounted contract offer for DStv Premium.

MultiChoice has launched a 12-month contract for its streaming-only DStv Premium package for R699 per month. The new deal was added to the DStv website on Tuesday morning.

“This latest update is a big step forward, especially for live sports,” said MultiChoice South Africa CEO Marc Jury. The “Explore More” section offers a deeper selection of specific genres, collections, and curated content, giving trending and niche content greater visibility. New display formats now play trailers directly on the homepage, while live channels stream automatically upon landing on the page.

The R699 per month offer for DStv Premium is a return to a price point first introduced as a promotion
