Senegal have confirmed that Bayern Munich star Sadio Mane will miss the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The 30-year-old forward picked up an injury during Bayer's win over Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga a couple weeks, putting his World Cup participation in doubt.Despite reports claiming he will miss the World Cup, Mane was still included in the Lions of Teranga's 26-man squad for the tournament last week.
However, the team announced on Thursday evening that the Ballon d'Or runner-up will play no part in Qatar.
