Official: Foster's boss hit with fine & ban in England
South Africa star Lyle Foster's manager at Burnley , Vincent Kompany , has now been hit with huge fine and a ban by the English FA.The former Manchester City captain was shown a red card during the Clarets' match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on 30 March for dissent after he erupted into an anger-fuelled protest against the match referee for sending off one of his players.
"The manager admitted that his language and/or behaviour in the 40th minute of the fixture was improper and/or abusive and/or insulting towards a match official and/or questioned the integrity of a match official. After that game against Chelsea, Kompany maintained that he would not shy away from expressing his frustration at refereeing decisions even if he is going to be charged. .
"I think the addition of VAR and more opinions and more officials doesn't make it easy for them to do their jobs. I haven't got any issues with being fined. I just want it to be right."
