Mount Joy Police Chief Robert Goshen confirmed to Lancaster Online that Sgt. Kyle Hosking was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation into the crash.
An off-duty Mount Joy police officer was involved in a crash that caused significant property damage and injuries on Thursday.LancasterOnline reports that Mount Joy’s Police Chief Robert Goshen confirmed that Hosking was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation into the crash.
According to state police, officers were called to Jasmine Place around 2:30 p.m. Thursday where there were multiple crash scenes stemming from one originating vehicle, police said.Investigators found Hosking drove his GMC Sierra into a mailbox and cable box at one home, according to police. When the owner came out to investigate, Hosking drove north on Jasmine Place.
Once again, Hosking drove away from the scene and turned left back onto Jasmine Place, according to police. The GMC again hit a group of mailboxes.
