A missing persons poster of Carson McNutt, posted at the Tim Hortons drive-thru in Masstown. Brendyn CreamerMASSTOWN, N.S. — Nova Scotia RCMP are looking for information related to a missing persons case in Colchester County from over 50 years ago.
Carson McNutt was last seen in the community of Londonderry on Nov. 26, 1971. Cpl. Chris Marshall stated in an email that investigators with the RCMP’s Major Crime Unit, “believe that there are people who possess information related to Carson’s disappearance.” “Investigators are asking that these people come forward in the hopes that the information may provide new avenues of investigation that could hopefully lead to discovering what happened to Carson,” said Marshall.
Though there has been no post made about it online as of yet, another spokesperson for the RCMP said that posters have been put up throughout rural communities in Colchester County in an attempt to reach out to those that may not see an online notice.
