The Outlaw Half Nottingham Triathlon will start and finish at the National Water Sports Centre on Sunday
Several road closures will be put in place across Nottinghamshire as athletes compete in a triathlon. at Holme Pierrepont on Sunday, May 21.
The event consists of a 1.2 mile open water swim, 56 mile bike ride and 13.1 mile run. They will travel along a sectioned-off lane of the A52 towards Radcliffe-on-Trent. During the event, road closures will be in force in areas such as East Bridgford, Lowdham and Newton. Bus operator Trentbarton said the event would affect its services, however they would be run as normal."Tomorrow will see the Outlaw Half Triathlon which will affect traffic on the A52 from Gamston to the RSPCA," it wrote in a tweet.
"Although our services will be able to continue their routes as normal, delays are possible with rolling road blocks and stop/go boards."No driving except bicycles and vehicles connected to event One-way traffic restrictions
