Nigeria's caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen has explained his decision to introduce Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah. The Super Eagles opened their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign with a 3-0 win over Benin on Saturday evening.Ademola Lookman bagged a brace while Victor Osimhen also got his name on the scoresheet on his return to the national side.
Ndah also made his long-awaited return to the Super Eagles when he replaced Calvin Bassey in the 63rd minute when the score was only 1-0.
