Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos recently shared his candid thoughts on Kaizer Chiefs’ new head coach, Nasreddine Nabi, following a chance encounter. Broos, surprised to discover that Nabi was living in the same building as him, quickly expressed his admiration for the former AS FAR coach.
“Someone from Kaizer Chiefs came to me and said, ‘Coach, the coach wants to speak to you’. He was sitting there, and he was drinking coffee.” This unexpected meeting led to a positive exchange, with Broos praising Nabi’s coaching abilities. “I think he’s a very good coach,” Broos said. “I think when you see what’s happening at Chiefs, it’s a different thing.”, aiming to bolster their squad with several key acquisitions for the upcoming season.
