The described stolen item was allegedly observed in plain view and the man was placed under arrest. He was also found to be in possession of a prohibited weapon and more than $3500 in cash.Returning to the property with search warrants under theand the Criminal Code of Canada, officers seized “a quantity of cocaine, a large amount of illicit cannabis, ammunition and other items consistent with drug trafficking.
The man is currently on a court order prohibiting him from being in possession of firearms, ammunition and weapons. He now faces eight charges, including possession of cannabis for the purpose of selling, which falls under the federal, as well as possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine. Additionally, he faces five charges related to unauthorized possession of ammunition and a prohibited weapon.
In addition to the 29-year-old man, police are looking to arrest two other individuals in relation to the seizure, according to an RCMP statement.adults can only possess up to 30 grams of legal weed in public, must buy cannabis from a provincially licensed retailer or online from a federally licensed producer, and grow as many as four cannabis plants from licensed seed or seedlings per residence for personal use.
