Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT There are plenty of movies and shows coming to Disney+ in September, including some National Geographic specials and more episodes of a new Star Wars series. There are fewer movies being added to Disney+ this month, but subscribers will find a Marvel offering and some classic library content original among the lineup of new additions.

These two shorts, however, don’t feature Mickey Mouse, but Disney’s first creation, Oswald the Rabbit. Both shorts have been restored and are part of Disney’s 100th anniversary celebration.
September 8 September 8 features a mixed lineup of new TV and specials on Disney+. While the National Geographic programming is geared toward the events of September 11, 2001, the other content being added is very different. There’s a behind-the-scenes special for Ahsoka, which will be sure to delight Star Wars fans. The rest of the lineup is actually made of Disney shorts. They’re part of Disney’s 100th anniversary effort to restore many of Disney’s classic animated shorts.
September 20 Just like September 13, September 20 sees new batches of Disney original series added to the streamer. This time, both are animated series. There’s also even more Marvel and Star Wars coming to Disney+ as Ahsoka continues her run and another chapter of the Marvel Studios’ Assembled project is added. This time around, the MCU goes behind the scenes on a Disney+ series with Secret Invasion.
