The building next to Bulwell Riverside on Main Street, Bulwell, which was previously used as a learning centre, could soon become a new healthcare facility

Plans have been submitted for a new healthcare centre that aims to "reduce health inequalities" in a Nottingham town. .

A planning document said the applicant had been offering advice and care to the community at the pharmacy located within Bulwell Riverside, particularly during the Covid pandemic. Planners added the new site next door would increase "invaluable space" and allow the operators to meet demand for clinics, advice and vaccinations.

Planning agents explained the layout of the site and the position of the proposed building had been considered through a "robust exercise of understanding the character of the surrounding area".
