NEW: Foster's Burnley 'Find' New Manager
Reports suggest that South Africa international Lyle Foster is close to having a new manager at Burnley following Vincent Kompany's switch to Bayern Munich., the Clarets have identified former Fulham boss Scott Parker as Kompany's successor after the Belgian agreed to join the Bavarians in May.
It is now said Burnley are"close" to appointing Parker, who has been without a job since leaving Belgian side Club Brugge in 2023. Former Chelsea coach Frank Lampard was also reportedly discussed as a candidate for the Burnley job before those talks eventually fell through.
