A supermarket that's worked out most expensive for key essentials since the beginning of March is now among the cheapest.
It's something we've done for two years now, since the cost of living crisis first took hold, and Lidl has come out cheapest for the majority of that time. It means that Morrisons has now taken the most expensive spot, at £12.37 for the basket, followed by Asda and Sainsbury's, both at £12.33.
