Clinic will be held at the Harbour South Medical Clinic in Yarmouth
Harbour South Medical Clinic on Yarmouth's Main Street. TINA COMEAU PHOTOYARMOUTH, NS – Nova Scotia Health’s mobile primary care clinic – in partnership with IWK Health, Emergency Health Services , and community partners – will hold a pop-up location on Saturday, Dec. 3, and Sunday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day at the Harbour South Medical Centre.The last booked appointment each day will be at 4:30 p.m.
“This is a temporary service for the weekend to provide an appropriate primary care setting for an increased number of people with mild or moderate health concerns currently being experienced,” reads a media release. “The clinic can only address non-urgent, low-acuity health issues and is not an emergency service. “NOTE: You DO NOT need to pre-book an appointment. Also, do not call Harbour South Clinic to make an appointment.
Upon arrival on the weekend people will be asked the reason for their visit to ensure the clinic can treat their concern. “If yes, you will be screened for COVID-19 and given an approximate appointment time,” the media release states. “Your patience is greatly appreciated as we aim to provide the best possible care.
