It will start to feel warmer after a dreary start to June
Temperatures will climb to around 21C in Greater Manchester this week amid a 'shift' in the weather across the UK.
In places where sunshine is forecast, it will 'feel very warm' over the coming days. In our region, forecasters predict the mercury will begin to rise from tomorrow after a largely overcast day today.Temperatures of around 20C are expected tomorrow in Greater Manchester amid some sunny spells. Thursday and Friday are set to feel even warmer with the mercury reaching highs of 21C, with sunny and cloudy intervals forecast.
This comes after a 'northerly airflow and cool air mass brought showers and below average temperatures for the time of year'. Now a strengthening of the jet stream will cause a shift in this week's weather.
