Sunny spells are expected over the next few days but will be short lived
Greater Manchester is expected to remain mainly dry over the next few days despite heavy rain battering some parts of the UK.
Wednesday will start off overcast with light showers expected by late morning. By 1pm the showers are set to be replaced by cloud with sunny spells then forecast from 4pm. The sunny spells are however set to be short lived with weather maps and charts showing a band of bleak weather sweeping the country from Monday , the Mirror reports.
"Within this, low pressure is perhaps more likely to be situated further to the north, bringing more frequent bouts of rain, showers and perhaps windier weather at times.
