Forcasters are predicting another pleasant weekend
After a pretty miserable summer, we've seen high temperatures and plenty of sun in Greater Manchester. The good news is that it doesn't appear to be ending just yet, with the Met Office predicting a warm weekend.
Today is expected to be fine and often bright day with sunny spells and cloudier periods, perhaps with the odd shower further north. It's expected to feel cooler and less humid than recently but still warm in the sunshine with a light westerly breeze. Highs of 21C. This evening is expected to be a bright one with some late sunshine. It will then be largely dry overnight but clouding over, perhaps with the odd spot of rain in places by dawn. Lows of 11C.
Monday Monday is set to be windier, but the day will see sunny intervals changing to overcast by late morning. Highs of 25C are possible, according to the Met Office.
