The Met Office has given its forecast
The long school holidays are drawing to an end and it seems as though the sunshine has finally got the memo that it is, in fact, summer. We have finally had a few consecutive days of drier and warmer weather after the dismal weather of July that saw a record amount of rainfall.
Wednesday is expected to be generally dry and bright after a cloudy start. It will feel warm with light winds and a maximum temperature of 23C.It is expected to remain dry overnight into Thursday. The Met Office said it will also be 'very mild' with temperatures dropping no lower than 15C. Sunshine and showers through this period, showers heavy at times and possibly thundery on Saturday. Temperatures will be near or slightly below average, forecasters have predicted.
