Cloudier by the afternoon but still some brightness, especially across eastern areas."The outlook adds: "Any morning brightness across eastern areas short-lived, on Wednesday, then probably generally cloudy.
"Sunnier with light showers further south. On Friday, further blustery showers in Scotland and western areas of Britain. Sunny elsewhere. Trending cooler." Met Office meteorologist Alex Deakin said there will be a north-south divide in the coming days.
