Manchester United interim manager Ralf Ragnick has made a final decision on the captaincy after the reported row with Cristiano Ronaldo.There were reports in the English media claiming this week that there was a power struggle between Harry Maguire and Ronaldo due to the former's disappointing form. It was reported that Rangnick preferred Ronaldo to take over and help mentor the younger players in the squad, but the German confirmed Maguire will remain captain this season.“I am the manager of this club and I have never spoken to any player about changing the captaincy.“This is not an issue and there is no reason to change.
“Harry is the captain and he will stay our captain until the end of the season. There is nothing more to say about this.”
