When the deputies got there, officials said the deputies encountered the man, who was holding a metal bat. After multiple commands to drop the bat, authorities said, the man charged at them with it. That's when one of the deputies opened fire, striking the man multiple times. Gonzalez said the man was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. The deputy wasn't injured and neither was anyone else at the house.Investigators, Commanders and PIO are enroute to an Officer-Involved shooting. Preliminary: a deputy responded to a call for service at the 14600 blk of Henry, involving a male with mental health issues.
