According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Dutch forward Wout Weghorst is close to joining the Red Devils on loan until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old emerged as a target for Ten Hag earlier this month, with it believed that the former Ajax Amsterdam manager has made it clear he wants to bring the towering target man to Old Trafford before the January transfer window closes. Weghorst is currently on loan at Besiktas from English Championship side Burnley, meaning United will reportedly pay a compensation fee to the Turkish giants before he signs a contract at the Theatre of Dreams.
