RCMP officers found a double-barrelled shotgun when they arrived in the early hours of July 30.
The Major Crime Unit is investigating a shooting in a Comox park after a man called 911 to report he had been shot in the leg.The incident happened at a park on the 2000 block of Wallace Road.
There is no evidence to suggest any ongoing risk to the public,” said Const. Monika Terragni of Comox Valley RCMP. “Investigators have interviewed witnesses and all parties involved in this incident are known to police. Anyone with information is asked to call the Comox Valley RCMP at 250-338-1321 and refer to file 2022-11587. An anonymous report can be made though Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or online at comoxvalleycrimestoppers.bc.ca.
