The Stormers have taken another big step towards sustained success after retaining the services of another top Springbok star.
The Stormers have been the dominant South African franchise force on the rugby scene over the last couple of the years, and seem set to only go from strength to strength. The announcement follows similar extensions for Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu, Dan du Plessis and Ruben van Heerden.
“Evan has been simply sensational since joining us three years ago and at just 24, there is still plenty more to come from him in a DHL Stormers jersey. “These extensions and a few more that will be announced soon show that the key players in this squad are committed to our vision and have bought-in to build something special over the next few years, which is very exciting,” he said.Roos said that the decision to sign a three-year extension was an easy one.
