The 26-year-old midfielder, who joined the Reds from Ajax in 2020 for a reported £35 million, has been limited to first-team starts since his much-anticipated arrival.appearances across three seasons; a largely underwhelming output considering his form for Ajax, especially during their Champions League run in 2019., the Netherlands international made just 10 appearances in all competitions for United last season.
Discussions over the future of Van de Beek are ongoing, according to the publication, who also suggest Mason Greenwood and Eric Bailly could also depart on deadline day.Earlier on in the transfer window, Van de Beek was heavily linked with a loan move to La Liga side Real Sociedad, who were reportedly keen on making a deal happen.
