Man Utd accept offer for Donny van de Beek to pave way for midfielder signing

He needs a fresh start.

Van de Beek joined United in a £34millon deal fromThe Netherlands international joined Everton on a six-month loan in 2022 before returning to the Theatre of Dreams after Ten Hag’s appointment.Van de Beek worked with the Dutchman at Ajax and it was hoped he could resurrect his time at the club.

But Ten Hag has failed in his mission and, with the United boss keen to sign a new midfielder, he’s sanctioned Van de Beek’s departure. United have therefore accepted a bid from Ligue 1 side Lorient for the midfielder, according to French reporter
