The first problem occurred on an eastbound train that stopped between Lees and Hurdman stations at about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, Amilcar said. Freezing rain was still falling, so transit staff decided to keep passengers on board the trains while work was done to restore service, Amilcar wrote.
