Registration is open for any players who\u0027d like to try and qualify for the Commissionaires Ottawa Open, a PGA Tour Canada eventJuly 20\u002D23.

Registration is now open for any players who’d like to try to qualify for the Commissionaires Ottawa Open, a PGA Tour Canada event being held July 20-23 at Eagle Creek.

On July 3, at Carleton Golf & Yacht Club, there will be a 36-hole qualifier where the top finisher will earn a spot in the Commissionaires Ottawa Open. There will also be an Open qualifier July 17, with a maximum of 156 players contending for eight spotsAmong those competing in the Commissionaires Ottawa Open will be Ottawa Senators star Claude Giroux and Brad Fritsch,Born in Edmonton but raised in Ottawa, Fritsch is a long-time member of Rideau View Golf Club in Manotick.

To register for either qualifier, check out the tournament website at ottawaopen.golf and under the Player’s section you will find full information. “We’re excited to provide an opportunity for local players to compete for a spot in the Commissionaires Ottawa Open,” tournament director Andy Rajhathy said. “It’s a dream for many avid golfers to play in a tournament conducted by the PGA Tour. And, here we are, with the opportunity.”
