"During cross-examination and questioning by Members, Mr Ndou consistently testified that Adv Mkhwebane never told him to 'exclude anything to do with politicians'; instead, her wish for 'no adverse findings' was 'a general statement not targeted at … any category of people', although that would have included politicians. Although it was a wish rather thanan instruction, Mr Ndou testified that it 'had implications for the investigations'.
