On Monday, Ontario’s 43rd Parliament will convene at Queen’s Park for a rare summer session following June’s election.
From building subways in Toronto, LRT in Hamilton, Hwy. 413, the Bradford Bypass and a host of regional road projects, Premier Ford campaigned hard on getting Ontario moving again. We can expect to hear about how his government will “get it done” on these projects.Article contentIn 2018, one of Ford’s big promises was fixing health care and ending “hallway medicine.” Despite some early progress, much of this was derailed by the pandemic.
The problem for them is that voters chose not to put them in power when they had the chance on June 2. It would be easy to say the NDP is bereft of ideas but the Liberals and Greens are no better, issuing near identical demands last week.
