THE RICH AND SORT OF FAMOUS
Orest SlepokuraAfter reading your editorial “Obstacles ahead to reach new immigration goal” about the obstacles faced by the Trudeau government to accept 500,000 immigrants per year by 2025, I contacted my financial advisor and directed him to immediately move some of my current investments to companies that manufacture tents, tarps and even shipping container homes.
Then I read Brian Lilley’s column about indoctrination of values that seem counterintuitive to a proper education. It’s a parent’s job to teach the values of the family — it’s the education system’s job to educate. If it’s really about the kids, this should have been put to bed by now — but we all know the answer to that. If I still had young children and could afford it, I would seek education at a private institution.
