We had a referendum for the Olympics, which included a new arena, and it was shot down because of the cost back then, and the biggest topic was getting that new arena, never mind all the other costs. As it was, the previous council spent millions just to enter the draw and their expenses and flights. So why are we going down this road again. Rachel Notley called for a referendum because she knew her chances of spending more millions on nothing wouldn’t get her elected.
