Trudeau Expels Wilson-Raybould, Philpott From Liberal Caucus
This single-mindedness, and refusal to allow other interpretations of events, are the reason she is no longer in caucus and, unfortunately, lends credence to the claim that she is not a team player.
It is difficult to discern from the information that she has shared, which of the “truths” she presents are actual facts, versus her interpretation of the facts, or perhaps even “alternative” facts. The hurly-burly of politics often requires slanting and selective presentation of truths, but without the lodestar of truth for its own sake, the political culture easily slides into sanctioning the bamboozling of the polity by elected leaders. This devalues the need for a properly informed electorate, and along with it, a genuine democracy.
