Letters March 11, 2023: 'Tired of paying for CBC's bonuses.' yyc
The CBC paid over $16 million in bonuses to its employees and over 80% of the workers at this federal Crown Corporation were also given raises. What is wrong with this picture? Even a well-oiled public enterprise shouldn’t be giving out bonuses in these times and the CBC is far from being a smooth-running, organized machine especially when less than 10% of Canada’s population supports it in viewership. The day we stop funding this money loser will be a good day for all Canadians.
What’s wrong with this picture? I thought under the days of the purple leader of Calgary that 10 percent would be reduced from waste water treatment due to watering your lawn or house plants or watering your pets.Article contentRefugees are nowadays typically being portrayed as ‘fake’ or economic refugees, especially on social media. Yet, many are fleeing truly horrific situations, lacking even basic food and shelter.
