LEDREW LAYS IT OUT
Re “Federal Liberal party in desperate need of retooling”: Good to see Stephen LeDrew back in the limelight, calling out Trudeau and the current Liberal government. I always appreciated his comments when he was on CP24. If anyone knows where the bodies are buried, it is Stephen, who served as president of the Liberal Party for over five years before Trudeau’s re-tooling of the Party. No doubt Warren Kinsella also knows of a few Liberal gravesites.
As LeDrew points out, Trudeau’s lack of leadership has led the country down a path where there is no place, nor desire, to deal with the major issues that are in a federal government’s domain — the economy, healthcare, housing, and immigration , and government spending to name a few. Now, with a special “rapporteur” appointed by the PM, perhaps Stephen can define this individual and the role they will play in getting Trudeau out of his current mess.
