The Leeds United forward handed in a transfer request prior to clash with West Brom on Friday evening
The future of Leeds United's Wilfried Gnonto is turning into an unwanted headache for Daniel Farke. The new club hierarchy has been adamant they won't sell the Italian international, but the 19-year-old handed in a transfer request prior to the Whites' draw with West Bromwich Albion on Friday night.
However, Sky Sports claim the player won't leave the club until a replacement is found. Injuries to Alex Iwobi, Dwight McNeil and Leeds United loanee Jack Harrison means Sean Dyche's side are short of options in the final third. The Blues will be hoping to avoid a repeat of last season whereby they narrowly avoided relegation, at the expense of the Whites. Gnonto is a top target for the Premier League side and Farke will be keen on finding a resolution in the coming days.
