Her departure brought a tear to her eyelast Wednesday in a goodbye edition that saw her pay an emotional tribute to listeners.
She said that 'it’s not goodbye forever' and she will return 'very soon', with the presenter always set to be part of the talkSPORT family. A week on, Woods was able to formally reveal her next gig as she will be part of ITV's coverage of the 2023 Women's World Cup. She retweeted a tweet from the broadcaster about their 'stellar squad' for the tournament, with Woodsy standing front and centre.
