For 20 years, people have been lighting up Victoria Park in the unique celebration, courtesy of the Friends of Victoria Park.
In line with Come Home Year 2022, a full day of activities starts at 2:00 p.m. with local musicians, Rachel Cousins, Luke Mercer, and Scalliwag performing, face painting, games of chance, and lantern jar making workshops among other activities. At 9:15 p.m., festival-goers can join in the procession for lantern installation in the upper part of the park, where fire jugglers, dancers, fire breathers, and acrobats will light up the night.
