The bumpy ride that is Lakewood Heights Boulevard will soon get a makeover due to a combined repaving project between Lakewood and Cleveland.
“We’ve had similar partnerships on projects impacting both municipalities in the past,” Lakewood Mayor Meghan George said.
Scheduled for next year, the concrete project will repave the entire length of Lakewood Heights Boulevard, including 1,999 square yards in Lakewood from Joselyn Road to Berea Road. “It was certainly something that was on our radar. The rating, the more we were moving it up on our list to get completed.”“It’s still in design, so we don’t have the estimated cost yet because it won’t be done until next year,” he said. “We just need to take this to city council to get the agreement pushed through. Then we can get the ball rolling.
