Cleveland Heights City Council votes on low-income housing plan on a lot vacant for almost 30 years, neighbors complain the plan does little to elevate the neighborhood
CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio - Developer TWG needs a signed development agreement this week and Cleveland Heights City Council will vote Monday evening on the 52-unit, $14.7 million low-income housing project planned for Noble Road on the East Cleveland border.
Meetings on the Noble Station project have been vocal, with Cleveland Heights architect Paul Volpe wondering if it will elevate the neighborhood. Critics of the plan say it lacks any amenities like a restaurant to revitalize the struggling neighborhood.

CITY BALLET OF CLEVELAND NUTCRACKER AUDITIONCITY BALLET OF CLEVELAND NUTCRACKER AUDITION City Ballet of Cleveland is holding its annual Uniquely Cleveland Nutcracker audition on Sunday, September 17th from 12:30 pm-4:30 pm. The audition is open to all area ballet dancers ages 7 and older, with at least one year of ballet experience. Dancers auditioning for pointe roles, including Act I Snow and Act II Waltz of the Flowers, should wear their pointe shoes to audition. The 2023 Uniquely Cleveland Nutcracker performances are scheduled for December 16th at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm at the Lakewood Civic Auditorium. A pre-registration form and $25 audition fee should be submitted by Thursday, September 14th.
